One basic or advanced dive training grant is being offered to women or men who are in Sea Scouts, Sea Cadets, JROTC, ROTC, or a military academy. The grant is valued at $1000: $500 for dive training (however, the applicant may request the entire award amount--$1000--for training); $500 for dive gear (or the balance remaining after at least $500 has been used for dive training). Dive training must culminate in a certification from an internationally recognized diver-training agency.
