Zara completed her astronaut field training in Egypt when she was 15 years old. Having been lecturing at universities since then, she inaugurated global celebrations for the UN World Space Week 2022 and is the youngest person in the world to have undergone graduate-level training in all aspects of astrophysics, astrobiology, planetary science, cosmology, geology, orbital studies, and space physiology. Since Zara aims to follow this interdisciplinary approach towards astronaut operations into her career as a professional, she hopes that familiarizing herself with weightlessness through rigorous mobility certifications by diving would allow her to effectively apply her scientific practices in space.
