Tori is a Ph.D. student in Anthropology and a full-time researcher for Indiana University’s Center for Underwater Science. Her research focuses on 19th-century shipbuilding, 15th- and 16th-century trade and colonialism in the Caribbean, and geochemical analyses of early wrought iron. Tori is a scientific and technical diver with Divemaster, closed-circuit rebreather, and mixed-gas certifications. In the future, she plans to continue working on archaeological research through a scientific or government institution, where she can continue her involvement with cultural heritage management and public outreach and education.
