Stephanie received her Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Washington. She is currently in the second year of her Ph.D. in Marine Science and Conservation at Duke University. Stephanie’s previous work focused on recruitment of bivalves in Hood Canal, WA, as well as facilitative restoration of the native Olympia oyster within the seagrass, Zostera marina. Currently, she asks questions about how positive feedback can be used in the broader context of conservation and ecosystem management. Her focus is on seagrass and how positive species interactions can be harnessed in useful ways for seagrass restoration.
