Stella has always been fascinated by the possibilities and adventure that hide just below the water and, although she is a new diver, she is ready for the challenge of learning this new skill. Unsure where she might take this knowledge, Stella has always had an interest in filmmaking, archaeology, wildlife, anthropology, and climate science, so she hopes that learning to dive will help establish a foundation for a possible career. Stella hopes that her ambition, curiosity, positivity, and work ethic will make her a great diver. She likes to meet new people, make art, and learn about culture and ancient societies. As a member of her school’s ‘Classics Club,’ she re-creates ancient artifacts and learns about how underwater discovery has helped us piece together history. She is currently in grade 9 at Elmwood School in Ottawa, Canada.
