Selene Jiménez Tovilla

Selene is the mother of two girls, hungry for outdoor experiences, and a promoter of community projects for sustainable tourism and conservation in the Mexican Pacific. She has collaborated in the Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas since 2013. She currently works in the Huatulco National Park, regulating nature tourism activity and informing users about the importance and problems of marine and coastal ecosystems, in particular, mangrove swamps and coral reefs. Selene loves living by the sea; her objective is to understand it better and influence its care through innovative environmental interpretation actions and low-impact recreation.
