Sarah started diving in 2013 and has since gained experience in many types of diving:cold and warm water, recreational diving, scientific diving, and aquarium diving under commercial standards. Sarah finds the most joy when her passions of diving, conservation, education, and research all come together. As a current Divemaster, Sarah will be able to pursue Instructor training with the support of this grant. She aims to help connect more people to life underwater through scuba training, leading to the next generation of conservationists, while also breaking down barriers that have prevented traditionally excluded groups from participating in scuba.
