Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) Scholarship

Sarah Cohen-Espinal, RN, BSN

Sarah was a sophomore at Scotch Plains Fanwood High School, New Jersey, when she received the WDHOF scholarship. At the time, she was the youngest person to receive the award. She was first introduced into the world of diving in 2002 by her father. Since then, Sarah has advanced her training rapidly and she currently holds several certifications, including Rescue Diver and Drysuit Diving. She received her B.A. in nursing at the University of Rhode Island, and now lives and works in Warwick. She is a Registered Nurse with 9 years of combined medical experience in homecare, hospital, volunteer, and emergency settings. Her focus has been in IV therapy and critical care. “I enjoy working with multiple disciplines to achieve the greatest outcomes for the patients.”
