Ruma Chatterji is a graduate student at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, earning her Master’s degree in Biology. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology with a double minor in Sustainability Management and Psychology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Her variety of research and education experiences include her work as an intern/researcher/educator at the Institute of Tropical Ecology in Panama, Sea Turtle Inc., Texas, 4-H program at University of Georgia, and Mote Marine Laboratory, Florida. She plans to obtain her Ph.D. in Marine Mammal Behavioral Studies and continue to pursue her passion for marine conservation.
