Michael is a 4th year Law Student at Western Leyte College of Ormoc, Philippines and an Advanced NROTC Cadet. He seeks to major in Environmental and Commercial Law. He is active in Marine Conservation and Research on Whale sharks, coral and mangrove rehabilitation. Michael is currently the Deputy for Operations of the Coast Guard Auxiliary District 1102nd Squadron and their Underwater Search and Recovery Diver. He also trains the Air Force Reserve Officers on water search and rescue. A PADI Rescue Diver, he will use this grant for deep dive training for use in rescue missions.
