Mercy is a recent graduate of George Washington High School in Guam and plans to pursue a degree in marine biology. As a member of Guardians of the Reef, she visited elementary schools to perform scripts and puppet shows about Guam’s watersheds, ocean, and marine animals. She was selected for an internship on Guam’s Restoration of Watershed at the University of Guam and was recently chosen for the Kulo’ program that prepares youth to be climate action leaders. Each day, Mercy is trying to do something that will take her one step closer to her goal of being a sea turtle biologist.
