Madison holds a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Western Washington University. She is a scientific illustrator and an avid cold-water diver. She lives near the Salish Sea and works as the conservation coordinator and scuba instructor at Seattle Dive Tours, a local dive shop. She is looking forward to expanding her dive skills with underwater photography courses and using those images in her artwork. When she is not in the water, she also works with a non-profit ocean science organization called SeaDoc Society and volunteers as a Scientific Diver with Reef Check and the Seattle Aquarium.
