Maddie graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Marine Science and Biology in 2016. She is now pursuing an M.S. degree in Marine Biology and Ecology at RSMAS with a focus on conservation genetics and coral restoration, while working as a divemaster and the environmental coordinator at South Beach Divers. She is also the outreach coordinator for Debris Free Oceans and helps run marine debris outreach and cleanup events. Her goal is to work as a researcher and field technician for an environmental non-profit.
