Lynn is a Ph.D. candidate at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) at University of California, San Diego. Her research is focused on developing and improving models for assessing fish populations. Lynn actively dives for the Grouper Moon research project, a joint effort between the Cayman Islands Department of the Environment, Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF), and SIO. The project is monitoring the recovery of the Nassau grouper in the Cayman Islands. Lynn works on modeling the population recovery and assessing egg fertilization rates and morphometrics. Lynn plans on becoming a professor of applied statistical methods at a marine science program.
