Lisa earned a B.S. in Marine Biology and a Master’s in Marine Resources Management from Texas A&M University. Since 2007, Lisa has worked in K-12 marine and watershed education. She has taught classroom-based and outdoor aquatic science, has authored several marine science and technology articles for children, and has both created and implemented STEM curricula. In 2012, Lisa volunteered to establish the marine education program for South Water Caye Marine Reserve in Belize. Her goal is to help inspire and promote protecting the Belize Barrier Reef through the disciplines of marine science and engineering.
