Kirsten Hawley

Kirsten Hawley is an undergraduate at Indiana University Bloomington, pursuing degrees in Underwater Archaeology and Anthropology, along with a certificate in Underwater Resource Management. She has field experience working with Living Museums in the Sea and Indiana University’s Center for Underwater Science in the Bayahibe Region of the Dominican Republic. Her research interests include 16th-century shipwrecks and artillery, the use of 3D photogrammetric modeling in archaeological outreach, and the conservation of submerged cultural resources and their associated biota.
