Kate is an underwater photographer, videographer, and scientific diving technician based in Monterey Bay, California. She earned her B.S. in Ecology and Evolution and B.A. in Art (Photography) along with her AAUS Scientific Diver and NAUI Divemaster certifications from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Kate developed a passion for the marine world while learning to scuba dive in Monterey, and now dives incessantly to capture and study the vibrant life hidden below California’s green waves. Her ambition is to develop professionally in photography and videography in order to visually and scientifically communicate the wonder of our underwater world.
