Jetty is a marine science student in South Broward High School’s Marine Science and Maritime Technology program. She is a high school junior and is considering a major in marine science/marine biology in college. She participated in the 2019 coral reef ecology expedition with the Marine and Nautical Training Academy (MANTA) in the British Virgin Islands, and she is currently an Advanced Open Water scuba diver. She is looking forward to using this grant to pursue her Rescue certification. Jetty is also an active member of her local surfrider and waterkeeper chapters.
