Jessica started diving at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 2013. Upon graduation, she received a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research in Mauritius, where she completed her M.A. in Economics, and organized community-managed marine conservation areas. She also completed her Advanced Open Water certification and worked at a local diving center. Jessica is a Coast Guard officer stationed in Seattle, WA, where she specializes in fisheries enforcement. She recently completed her Rescue certification and enrolled in a Divemaster program. Her goal is to become an Open Water Scuba Instructor and teach local youth about diving and marine life in Puget Sound.
