Jenna received her M.S. in Marine Biology and Ecology from the University of Miami in 2020, where her thesis focused on the acclimatization of Hawaiian reef-building corals to thermal stress. Now a Ph.D. student in the Cnidarian Evolutionary Ecology lab at the University of Southern California, she is interested in understanding how thermal stress tolerance changes after outplanting in Acropora cervicornis, a branching coral commonly used for reef restoration in the Florida Keys.
