Jasmine began diving at 14 years old, and she quickly advanced to earning a Master Diver certification and what became a long-standing commitment to diving, ocean conservation, and advocacy. She graduated from University of Southern California in 2015 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. in Spanish. She is now immersed in healthcare as a second-year medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine. She hopes to pursue emergency medicine, and eventually undersea and hyperbaric medicine. She is excited for the prospect of this multidisciplinary field so that she can ultimately contribute to human health directly through medicine and indirectly through environmental stewardship.
