Erin is a Master’s student at Loyola University Chicago, studying aquatic invasive species. She has conducted dive surveys in Lake Michigan monitoring the invasive crayfish and mollusk populations. She has used her dive experience and passion for aquatic species to do research and conservation work on the Great Barrier Reef and with White sharks in South Africa. Erin plans to use this grant to obtain her advanced dive training certificate to continue her research. Her next goal is to complete her Ph.D. in aquatic ecology.
