Emily Fisher

Emily has been diving since she was 14 years old and been diving in and around the Great Lakes ever since. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in economics and history with a minor in GIS but also took courses in geography and political science. For the past five years she has been working aboard boats, traveling, and always following her passions and interests. She is a Marine Technician aboard the research vessel JOIDES Resolution. It is a deep sea coring vessel that collects geological samples for academic across the globe. “I have been told countless times that I’m ‘living the dream’ and I have been.”
