Diana is studying for her Doctorate in Public Administration with the dream of leading nonprofits and other organizations to improve local communities and the environment through purposeful, sustained action. Diana, no stranger to water due to physical therapy after numerous surgeries for cerebral palsy, expects her dive training to provide insights and experience that can be used to share with and educate others. As an elementary teacher, Diana instills a love of learning and appreciation for our environment in her students, often serving as a role model as she volunteers with Keep Brevard (Florida) Beautiful and other environmental organizations to restore and preserve local treasures.
