Chi began teaching recreational diving in 2015 and is now a technical diving instructor and expedition leader. She has spent the majority of her career based in a Marine Protected Area in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, and looks forward to expanding her experience in other parts of the world. Her passions include exploration diving, marine conservation and dive safety, and with every channel she hopes to increase access to technical diving for women and minority groups. This award will allow her to ensure safer conditions while working in more remote locations.
