Chelsea is a Ph.D. candidate at Florida Atlantic University. Through scientific diving, she studies how two species of octopus coexist in a South Florida habitat. Her research has been published in Florida Environmental Outreach, featured in Changing Seas, and is available through her Facebook outreach page: Octo Girl. Chelsea uses underwater photography and videography to explain her research, tell her underwater stories, and to showcase her passion for marine science. Photography training courses will aid Chelsea in developing photography skills, a valuable tool for her career goals as a marine biologist and science communicator.
