In the summer of 2017, Casey began work at Southern Indiana Scuba, and has since logged over 4500 hours of work and apprenticeship in various roles in the dive industry, including cylinder inspection and hydrostatic re-testing, regulator and equipment repair, retail sales, travel consultation, management, and instructing. Casey graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, a certificate in Underwater Resource Management, an individualized minor in Ocean Technology, and a minor in Geography. Currently an SSI Advanced Open Water Instructor, Casey plans to continue to grow her knowledge of scuba and expand the legacy of Southern Indiana Scuba.
