Carolyn is an undergraduate at Florida State University (FSU) pursuing a dual major in Environmental Studies and International Affairs. She is fascinated with the link between ecotourism and Marine Protected Areas. Achieving her dive certification will help advance her goal of participating in hands-on marine research involving coral reef restoration, invasive species management, and ecotourism. Carolyn is the co-president of the Surfrider chapter at FSU. She is passionate about advocating for the protection of our oceans because she believes it’s an extremely important part of humanity’s shared culture and shared future.
