Caroline is an undergraduate student, studying Biology and Economics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her research focuses on exploring the relationship between algae and coral host in stony corals, and identifying species of algae that are biomarkers of Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease resistance in the coral microbiome. While she is new to marine disease ecology, she is excited to utilize her dive training to further her research and career in Marine Biology. Her future goals are to obtain her advanced scientific diving certification and dive with her lab.
