Cami is a Ph.D. candidate at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, researching aquatic biogeochemistry and microbial ecology. When not in the lab, she can be found under water moonlighting as a maritime archaeologist to identify, survey and preserve shipwrecks in Port Phillip Bay. Cami seeks to understand how climate change will affect shipwreck degradation and what can be done to prevent loss of underwater cultural heritage. Cami plans to combine her skillset and extend her diving qualifications to investigate and protect shipwrecks and their surrounding biota. In short, get under water, preserve wrecks & save the ocean!
