Bethany Augliere

Bethany is a photographer, science communicator, and marine biologist. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Science from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and a graduate certificate in Science Communication from UC Santa Cruz. She’s been face to face with the world’s most incredible creatures, from tiger sharks and great hammerheads, to spotted dolphins and leatherback sea turtles. Her work has appeared in various print and online publications, including Nature, The Mercury News and National Geographic Kids. With advanced photography training, Bethany plans to strengthen her portfolio and find projects that contribute toward marine conservation.
