Beatrice is an Italian vocational diver with a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography. With 20 years of diving experience, she has worked around the world as a CCR & OC instructor and participated in biological and archaeological underwater projects.  She co-authored the book, Biodiving, and translated and contributed to several other diving texts. Beatrice plans to use the training grant to enhance the safety of her teams when working in remote areas and that of diving communities at training sites. It is also an additional step towards her goal of becoming a Diving Safety Officer.
