Anna is a sophomore at West Florida High School, Pensacola, Florida. At an early age, she declared she wanted to be a Marine Biologist, specifically working with dolphins. Anna has enjoyed many experiences at the Dolphin Research Center, including Trainer for the Day and Basic Dolphin Lab. Anna learned to scuba when she was 13, and is currently an Advanced Open Water Diver. In her goal of becoming a Marine Biologist specializing in dolphins, she will be using this grant to enable her to reach the goal of being a Dive Master at 18. Her favorite scuba class to date was the Adaptive Buddy training and she volunteers as an Adaptive Buddy for parapalegics, quadrapalegics, and amputees diving with Achilles Divers, helping those with limited mobility experience the freedom and excitement of scuba diving.
