Angelo is a 55-year-old lifelong resident of Chicago who has overcome a traumatic spinal cord injury in 1991. He has been training in the pool with Diveheart since November of 2021 and will be SDI certified by May 2023. Active in the disabled sport community, Angelo wants to share the wonders of marine life and learn how to preserve different ecosystems through photography and communication. He will share with other people with disabilities how scuba helps him relax and is a form of therapy. He wants others to see how scuba can contribute to a happier and healthier life.
