Advanced Dive Training Grants, sponsored by WDHOF

Angela Hansen

Angela Hansen began diving in 2014 thanks to a WDHOF training grant, after finishing her Master’s degree in Marine Science in Hawaii. Since then she moved back to her hometown of Vancouver, Canada, and began cold-water diving locally and as a husbandry diver at the Vancouver Aquarium. Angela is passionate about marine research and conservation, and actively volunteers in habitat restoration, community science education programs, and wildlife rehabilitation. In the upcoming months while she applies to Ph.D. programs she plans to also continue her scuba education with the rescue and the technical diving training she needs to become a certified scientific diver.
