Amila is a veterinarian who has completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Veterinary Science from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. Her passion is working with marine mammals, especially dolphins and dugongs. She is looking forward to contributing more to the field after finishing her Ph.D. research on marine wildlife conservation training, for which learning to dive will be essential.
