Amelia Weiss

Amelia Weiss is a Ph.D. student in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Cornell University. She is interested in how invertebrate communities are structured by the way that resources move across landscapes. Her research focuses on the effects of resource subsidies, which are nutrients and energy that get taken up in a different ecosystem from where they originated. For her dissertation, she is studying how food webs in aquatic caves are influenced by resource inputs from neighboring ecosystems.
