Abigail Durrant is a Master’s degree student in Maritime Archaeology at the University of Southern Denmark. She has been diving recreationally since 2008 and completed her commercial scuba diver training in 2014. She has recently started her technical diving training, and in 2015 completed the RAID Deco 40m course. Her research interests concern the sustainable management of underwater cultural heritage. Her goal is to become a professional maritime archaeologist and utilize her diverse diving training background in maritime archaeological projects. Abigail plans to use her award to further her experience and begin limited trimix technical diving training.
