Pamela Balash-Webber’s career in the scuba diving industry spanned over 40 years, during which time she was a PADI Course Director and owner of St. Thomas Diving Club in the USVI. She co-founded the Virgin Islands Diving Association and spearheaded the installation of moorings at USVI dive sites to protect the reef from anchor damage. She conducted the first-ever PADI Instructor Course in Russia in 1995. Pam promoted dive travel to the USVI on behalf of the USVI Dept. of Tourism and was a champion of ocean conservation. She shared her love of the sea with everyone she met.
