Lorraine Sadler

Class of:  2000

Lorraine has been underwater since the 1960s. She holds instructor status with SSI, SDI/TDI, DAN, LA County, NAUI, and PADI, and has also worked as a stunt diver. She was an original team member for Rodale Scuba Diving Magazine creating tests to evaluate scuba equipment in a consumer report style manner. She is a founding member of Women’s Scuba Association and holds the position of Equipment Director for WETT - where she helps to design and evaluate equipment for diving manufacturers. She is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, working for the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber on Catalina Island. She currently heads a team of volunteers to coordinate treatment between the physician and the first responders. Additionally, she teaches scientific diving, runs labs for K-12 and college level on marine science, and works with the Catalina Conservation Divers.
