Kay was one of the pioneers in the history of underwater cave exploration in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Being an active explorer she was inducted into the Explorers Club. Kay has been published in the NACD Journal and included in articles on cave exploration in Smithsonian and other magazines worldwide. Kay was IMAX stunt double in Journey to Amazing Caves and has worked with several film projects with Discovery Channel and National Geographic. Kay is the co-founder and owner of LocoGringo.com a vacation reservation service for the Riviera Maya, Costa Maya and Yucatan. In 2012 Kay climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, just missing the summit, after a life time at sea level, but her efforts proved worthy, the fund raised during her climb led to the birth of sewing school in Tanzania help women get started in small business. Kay lives between the Riviera Maya, Mexico and Houston, TX.
